Essay04: Letter to host family

Hello, my host family :) My name is Kana Miura. I am twenty years old. I’m from Kumamoto in Japan. I go to Kumamoto Gakuen University and major English there. My birthday is June 16th. I am almost 21 years old. My hobby is listening to music, reading magazines and taking pictures. These are my routine. I specially like taking pictures. I take digital camera everyday. I quickly take pictures when I find interesting things and beautiful view. I want to take various things more. Are there good view tour spots in your town? And recently, I started dancing. I am not good at dancing yet but dance is very fun. I also like drinking. I like shochu. Do you know shochu? It is Japanese drink. Alcohol is little strong but I think it is delicious. I want it to drink with you.

First, I introduce my family. I have 5 people in my family, my mother, my father, my 2 younger sisters and I. My parents are interested in a large number of things. My father likes playing tennis. He goes to tennis 3 days in a week. My father works at insurance office and familiar about computer very much. I heard he taught it for some students. My mother is good at cooking. My mother's dishes are very delicious. Her hobby is pressed flower. Spring is many kind flowers so she seems pleased. I think she is little cute :). She decorates it and puts in my house. I think it is more enough. Do you want it? My 2 younger sisters are 18 and 16 years old. 18 years old sister was college student this year. She goes to Oita University and major art so she is good to draw picture. She has been liked anime so her dream is to be artist. 16 years old sister is kumamoto kita high school student. She belongs to brass band club since junior high school student. She does her best everyday. I respect them because they do best to want to do themselves everyday. I enjoy with my family very much! Please tell me about your family.

I wanted to go to New Zealand for a long time ago. So I am very pleased what I can go there. There are a lot of things that I want to do. First, I want to go sky tour in Auckland. We can look beautiful view from there. I heard the night view is very beautiful. Other, I want to Mt Cook because it is location of “last samurai”. It is one of my favorite movies so I want to go there. And I will take many pictures in these places. I want to keep in much memory. Please tell me about your recommendation place. And let’s go there! Next, I want to eat various dishes. I like eating very much so I am little overweight :( I have to diet to eat New Zealand’s food. I do my best!

I think to learn more about New Zealand, for example, language, life style, trend and something. There are also a lot of things that I want to learn. I am interested about your hometown. But I have no knowledge about there so I will do rude things. Then, please caution me without reserve. I want to make good relationship with you. I want to know yours and also mine so I think I send to mail and my pictures. If you are permitting, would you correspond to me? If you want to know about Japan, whatever I reply as much as possible.
